Boomer Fun
Today was a busy day for Boomer. We went this morning to the bike trail and enjoyed a walk, a beautiful day for it by the way. Then Jeanne, and Jen and the girls stopped by and spent a few hours getting to know the little guy. Between the days action, and chewing on the pork shoulder (w/ some leftover meat on it) he's finally starting to slow down! Such a good dog!

A video we shot while at the falls. Looks smaller in the video than it is when you walk up to it.

"Boomer" Morgan
When asked what they wanted for Christmas, the boys said they wanted a dog. So our latest addition to the family, and English Bulldog (still not sure if he's an Olde English, or mixed, but the previous owner says otherwise). We've been looking for several weeks, and finally landed this little guy. He's already house broken, a real lover, and is so excited he's been here all day and still hasn't gone to sleep. We are sure happy to have him!!! We've named him Boomer.... a nuzzler, loves to root around in our laps, and snorts (quietly) like a pig when he does... he's gonna get soooooo spoiled rotten! Just what we all wanted.... Merry Early Christmas to all of us!

So we spent the day on the train again, only this time in the snow.... some video of our trip.

Interested in sailing a raft made out of junk across the Atlantic? This guy did. An interesting story about an individual that was awkward even at his best, but accomplished what some would say was crazy..... w/ a great deal of struggle, and simplicity....
and a positive outlook, even when surrounded by skeptics.

Have You Seen Them?
If you haven't seen Peter and Gail's Blog, check it out. They're headed south again and sending pictures of their stops along the way on their boat Jabiru, a beautiful Cabo Rico that they revived from a boatyard in NC. You can see more about their journeys at their blog.....
