Day Off 4 Skating

So we went to Columbus today rollerskating....
(Budge and I are gonna feel that tomorrow)
and had a good time.

Fish Heads Anyone?

So while in Columbus today, we stopped at a chinese buffet that was really good, and mainly because I've never eaten fish heads before, and several other people were grabbing them, I thought, "why not, everybody else is doing it!" it was sweet, and though there wasn't a lot of meat, it wasn't bad.....

Riverside Getaway

So we went camping this weekend....

what a beautiful weekend to go too,

perfect weather, and few people there too, which was even better.

We had the best site in the whole park,

a great spot with a little peice of land that went out

into the river, no other site had a spot like this!

We had a great time, and enjoyed getting out and listening

to the river go by. 

Another One Down

Knocked another book out this week. 
A good read, strange and funny.
Changed out another wheel bearing this morning on the car...
driver's side wen't out a few months ago,
and the passenger's side was starting to make some noise
so thought I better take care of it before it gets too bad.

We're packin' up for a three day weekend...
boys teacher's have a meeting today, so they're off,
and I took a paid day myself soooo
we're headed camping for the weekend!

Now how we gonna get all this stuff in the car?

So I have got to stop starting posts with "So I've". 
So at work I've got a lot of time between calls, so I get a lot of reading done.  This was a good read.  A comical take on the childhood memories of Philip Gulley.  With a whole lot of embelishment, as we all do!  I thought it was great!

Old Tree

So I ran across this picture that Bridget caught in Bath, NC years ago.... and thought I'd repost it.  One of the oldest towns in the state, was one of the residence of the pirate Edward Teach, otherwise known as "Blackbeard" and quiet a memorable anchorage, w/ a lot of character and history.
