So I've just finished this book.....
interesting details about the late Sax great
and his friendship with Bruce Springsteen. 
He started playing sax for Bruce
as part of the E Street Band in 1972...
(the year I was born)....

Prayer Of Serenity

Budge and I have seen this a thousand times, but recently found something that showed the full prayer...... this is it.....

God grant me the serenity,

to accept the thngs I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference.

(and this is the part we've never seen before)

Living one day at a time,

enjoying one moment at a time;

accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;

taking, as Jesus did,

this sinful world as it is,

Creek Chicken

So we went to church this morning, and then when we got home we packed a picnic and drove out to the covered bridge at Mohican.  Hung out next to the creek listening to the water babble, ate bourbon chicken, went for a hike along the water, and enjoyed an all out beautiful day! 
A good Sunday!

Kroger Krabs

So for those friends of ours south of the Mason Dixon, it may be difficult to find a Kroger....but if you can, right now they've got Snowcrab (and shrimp) on sale for $4.99 a pound.  We bought a 10 pound box of crab and dropped it in the big freezer.  I smell a low country boil comin' our way soon.... with a little Otis Redding playing in the background!
