Prayer Of Serenity
Budge and I have seen this a thousand times, but recently found something that showed the full prayer...... this is it.....
God grant me the serenity,
to accept the thngs I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
(and this is the part we've never seen before)
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking, as Jesus did,
this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life
ad supremely happy with you forever in the next.

Kroger Krabs
So for those friends of ours south of the Mason Dixon, it may be difficult to find a Kroger....but if you can, right now they've got Snowcrab (and shrimp) on sale for $4.99 a pound. We bought a 10 pound box of crab and dropped it in the big freezer. I smell a low country boil comin' our way soon.... with a little Otis Redding playing in the background!

Budge's Homegrown Tomatoes
This is just a few of the 'maters comin' in....
tomato sandwiches have been a popular item on
the lunch menu here at Morgan's Boatshack.
...and I figured it would only be fitting to
put the Guy Clark tune
"Homegrown Tomatoes"
on as our song...
...and if you have a hankerin' for one
and don't have a fresh homegrown tomato
just stop by and we'll set you up with a few warm ripe
ones right off the windowsill courtesy
of Budge's 'mater patch....
....because
"there's only two things that money can't buy
and that's true love, and homegrown tomatoes!"
