Doing Dishes?

So I'm reading this book, which has really got my attention.  One man's quest to wash dishes in all 50 states.  It's also turned me on to Charlie Parker music....which has introduced me to a world of Jazz music that reminds me of days working at the Gambles Mill Inn in Shelby when I was young.  I remember bussing tables in the place, and listening to music much like this stuff, while scrubbing the dishes.....

Some Beach

So one of our favorite spots to hang out at is a place called

Nickel Plate Beach in Huron, OH.  We spent yesterday bobbing

around in new inflateable chairs we found on sale in the seasonal

section of one of our favorite local stores for 25% off. 

We have a small anchor we throw out, with a floating bouy....

we tie a rope loop to the end, we all float in a circle bobbing around

doing everything we can to have a good time....

which in this setting doesn't take a whole lot of effort!

Ate grilled brats, and even after spraying on a high spf

we still managed to get sunburned.....

I remember playing at a house across the street from

this place in the 80's and seeing inmates walking

inside through the windows at night.....

they built the new facility behind what's left of the structure.
